Who We Are
La Costa Youth Organization (LCYO) is a not-for profit organization that provides baseball and softball programs for youths between 5 to 15 years old who live mainly in the Carlsbad and Encinitas areas. Our baseball programs are associated with "Pony" Baseball. Our softball programs are associated with Amateur Softball Association (ASA).
In Spring 2007, LCYO had over 1,600 players: 75% played baseball and 25% played softball
Who We Serve
In Spring 2006, the majority of our players were residents from Carlsbad and Encinitas:
* 80% of our players live in Carlsbad.
* 14% of our players live in Encinitas.
* 5% of our players live in San Marcos.
* The remaining players are from Rancho Santa Fe, Vista, Oceanside, Escondido, and/or San Diego.
